New lectures cycle-year. Shalom rabbi Mizrachi and welcome back. Since you often say that days are coming when people can only survive by faith, because evil and bushah is ever increasing, as it is also written in the books of the Prophets, maybe your public will be interested and benefit from a series on this book on Emunah: the garden of Emunah: https://youtu.be/phkeCujc8JM
While you did not post lectures I listened to the explanation of this amazing book, but it is in Spanish or Hebrew, so the English speakers cannot use it. I also checked in Torah Anytime and could not find any lecture on this book, but the book is really marvellous, at least as explained by the Spanish rabbi in the link above.
The book explains 3 steps of real Emunah which help everyone in the world-with quotes from the Tanak and the Talmud to show where each step was written from the beginning of time.
1st step: Everything comes from G-d, no evil befalls us by chance. It seems to our eyes that things happen by chance, therefore this step requires Emunah
2nd step: Everything is meant for our good even though we do not understand why or how. It is like a child who has to go for a vaccination and is afraid of the needle. He screams and hopes that his father will help him out, instead his father helps the doctor to give him a shot. The child does not understand the good in that pain, but one day he will understand. For now he has to trust that his father has a good purpose to benefit him and not to harm him, therefore this step requires Emunah (to understand things not from the poit of view of what it looks like, but fromt he point of view of for which purpose G-d created the world)
3rd step: In everything there is a message from G-d, and in this message is hidden the ‘good’ that we cannot see in the bad event. So our task is to find out what does Hashem want to tell us. in order to find out, we have to do something that is called “hitbodedut’, which means that we have to speak with G-d for at least one hour a day and we have to tell Him everything we feel and think, and ask Him to reveal to us what is He trying to tell us, and ask Him to let us understand it.
If we do this, we will be happy, even if it looks that the world around us is falling down. This is the highest stage of Emunah.
If we are not happy, G-d cannot speak to us and we can never understand His messages. Therefore the best we can do -or a mitzvah- in any circumstance in our life, is not to be sad and depressed, to be happy that G-d has a good purpose and He wants to benefit His creatures.
I think your listeners will like such lectures very much, as much as The Path of the Just and Tehillim, and they will also benefit a lot.
The book is written by a rabbi named rabbi Arush, who colected all the quotes from the Tanak , Rambam etc… together. Shalom, greetings and may you have a prosperous and fruitful year of work and all the best in everything. Of course peace on Jerusalem and all the Jewish people eveywhere, and I hope fthat you post many lectures.
