The prohibition of shaving the beard I find goes back to Canaan practices of pedophilia as a sexual aphrodisiac. They would cleanly shave the man and woman so they had a prepubescent childlike appearance. Both male and female childlike appearances were associated with such. Also I’ve interpreted the prohibition against shaving to also include females and males and their entire bodies. I do consider it lawful to allow trimming of the hair I generally consider 1\8 the least. The idea is to avoid childlike appearance in an adult. As for a woman with struggles with facial hair I suggest bleaching with distilled vinegar. Also avoid too much overindulgence with sex as the sperm if too much in a woman will create a manliness in their appearance including facial hair. Of course I would not allow couples to even share the same bed unless copulating.
