The Choices of Parents That Can Destroy The Life Of Their Children

Dear Rabbi Mizrachi, Great lecture and I heard a similar lecture by another esteemed Rabbi. My confusion is on the list of people you gave saying how they were all great but which was the greatest. His interpretation was that it would be the physician Ava Ulma over Abaya even though Abaya was raised an orphan and was a Talmudic icon. He states that the heavenly court would send a greeting to Ava ulma every day where as Abaya would get the greeting only once a week ,on Friday afternoons.When Abaya asked why this was so he was told he would never be able to emulate Ava Ulma. I probably am not at a level to understand but it leads me to some confusion?
